bitforms
bitforms was the first gallery devoted to digital and digitally-inspired art in New York. Located in Chelsea, the epicenter of New York's art scene, bitforms celebrates the nexus of art and technology. When the gallery opened several years ago, Clifford PR's challenge was to launch bitforms to the media and the discriminating art collector at a time when the concept of digital art was just taking hold in the art community. Digital art has since gained a much firmer foothold in the fine art world, and bitforms' list of artists includes such new media notables as Daniel Rozin, Casey Reas, Lynn Hershman, Golan Levin, and Michael Rees. Clifford PR is currently working to promote the many interesting national and international exhibits in which bitforms' artists are included, as well as continuing to raise awareness of the significance of digital art.
Big Apple Circus
New York's own circus, the Big Apple Circus, reaches far beyond the confines of its spectacular one-ring tent at Damrosch Park with its various year-round programs such as The Clown Care Unit, a full-time troupe of clown therapists who visit ill children. Clifford Public Relations was retained to promote the Big Apple Circus's annual fall gala held in Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center.
Guild.com
Exhibiting the juried work of more than 1700 artists, Guild.com offers one of the broadest online collections of original art and fine craft, and continues to be one of the most successful and viable art brands connected with the Internet. Clifford Public Relations was retained to launch Guild.com, providing strategic marketing support through feature coverage and extensive product placement both locally and nationally.
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) www.moca.org in Los Angeles is one of the country's premier contemporary arts institutions. Clifford PR has been retained to promote this year's Annual Gala at MOCA, an event that honors long-time arts philanthropist Dallas Price-Van Breda and that will feature an art installation by laser/light artist Hiro Yamagata as well as a performance by KD Lang.

Museum of Contemporary Art — Miami
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) in Florida, known for its provocative installations, presents eight to ten exhibitions annually, all of which are made possible through grants from the city and various councils. Clifford Public Relations was retained to arrange local and national outreach for the museum's exhibits, events, and cultural and educational programs.
Smithsonian — National Portrait Gallery
One of the most recognizable cultural institutions in the world, the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery (www.npg.si.edu) is the place where Americans can get to know the individuals who have shaped the country. The National Portrait Gallery is currently closed to the public while it undergoes massive renovation, however, some of its most compelling collections are on tour nationally and internationally. Clifford Public Relations supports four traveling exhibitions with a dynamic media and marketing program; our goal is to keep the Gallery's image vibrant and relevant, even while its doors are closed.
The National Museum of the Marine Corps
Currently under construction, the National Museum of the Marine Corps will be the first museum dedicated to documenting and celebrating the legacy of the United States Marines Corps. The Museum will be located on a 135-acre site next to the Marine Corps Base at Quantico, V.A., a short drive south of Washington, D.C. Housed in a stunning building, the Museum will feature cutting-edge technology and interactive displays to immerse visitors in the history, culture, values, and mission of the Corps. The National Museum of the Marine Corps will open in 2006 (www.usmcmuseum.org).
Washington Chamber Symphony
The Washington Chamber Symphony is the chamber orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Clifford PR worked to raise awareness for the Orchestra in the Washington area and nationally. One of the most successful initiatives we launched on their behalf was the re-creation of Antonio Vivaldi's all-girl orchestra. "Viva Vivaldi!" was a nationwide competition culminating in the formation of an all-star orchestra composed of girls from around the nation. Featuring performers ranging in age from 6 to 18, the final concert received national and regional media coverage, focusing attention on the Washington Chamber Symphony.
SB Fine Art
Owned and run by Armenian-born Silva Bezdikian, SB Fine Art mounts major exhibitions for leading international artists. In addition, Ms. Bezdikian serves as a consultant to private clients on a broad range of art collecting activities. Currently, SB Fine Art presents the first U.S. exhibition for painter Maro Gorky, daughter of Arshile Gorky. Previous SB Fine Art shows have included painters Jean Jansem and John Altoon, and photographer Aris Iliopulos. Clifford PR was retained to promote the Gorky show and to raise awareness for SB Fine Art and Silva Bezdikian.
